Journey 2 Employment – J2E

Journey to Employment is a local group, run by Michele and Lewis, from MotherwellDepartment for Work and Pensions & Wishaw Citizens Advice Bureau. Working in small groups, people receiving certain ill health benefits help each other to gain confidence and skills for the workplace. The emphasis is on moving each individual nearer to work – there is no requirement to commit to finding a job, and participation will not affect your benefit in any way.

It takes place in the Isa Money Community Centre, in Muirhouse and each group runs for 12 weeks. There is also a “drop in” service after each group ends to offer continued help and support.

We focus on :

  • Personal development
