The Bureau is an SQA approved training centre offering SVQ in Advice, Administration and Assessors awards. It is also a Learndirect Centre.

1) Becoming a Bureau adviser

The Bureau runs a basic advice worker training programme 3 times per year and the course involves theory sessions and practical “on the job” training to equip you with the skills to provide advice and information to members of the public to CAS quality standards.

2) Assisting with administration duties

Administrative training – typing, filing, photocopying, telephone duties, fax and data entry.

3) Be involved in strategic management by serving on the Board of Directors

All Directors receive an induction and training. Further specialist areas of training are also available to Directors.
