The Bureau is an SQA approved training centre offering SVQ in Advice, Administration and Assessors awards. It is also a Learndirect Centre and accredited to the Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers.
Becoming a Bureau adviser
The Bureau runs a basic advice worker training programme 3 times per year and the course involves theory sessions, practical “on the job training” and E-Learning to equip you with the skills and knowledge to provide advice and information to members of the public to CAS quality standards.
Assisting with administration duties
We offer a structured and comprehensive Administrative training to build your confidence in carrying core administration tasks.
Be involved in strategic management by serving on the Board of Directors
All Directors receive an induction and full training.
