The North Lanarkshire Tribunal Representation Unit is funded by the Aspiring Communities Fund with support from European Social Fund and delivered in partnership with Airdrie Citizens Advice Bureau. It provides tribunal representation across the whole of North Lanarkshire for anyone wishing to appeal a benefit decision.
Referrals from North Lanarkshire Citizens Advice Bureaux come through a centralised coordinator number and are allocated to the available Welfare Rights Officers for assistance and representation.
We provide representation at welfare benefit and local authority tribunals. Our services include undertaking casework and offering representation at appeal hearings. We will allocate a named caseworker in those cases where long term support is needed e.g. you need representation at an appeal tribunal. We can contact the Department for Work and Pensions on your behalf by phone, letter, fax or email.
If you would like to appeal a benefit decision and be referred to the service please contact us for more information.
